  • National Sexual Assault Hotline

    The Rape, Abuse and Incest National Network (RAINN) operates the National Sexual Assault Hotline at 1-800-656-HOPE(4673) in partnership with 1,100 rape crisis centers across the nation, providing free, confidential advice 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  RAINN’s website also provides access to an online, instant messaging hotline, and referrals to many other resources for survivors.
  • The Relocation Counseling and Identity Protection Initiative

    This initiative is in partnership with the National Network to End Domestic Violence (NNEDV) and provides information to individuals and service providers nation-wide for victims/survivors who are seeking to relocate for purposes of escaping an abuser.
  • Clery Center for Security on Campus

    Clery Center for Security on Campus provides advocacy and referral services to victims of college and university campus community crime including homicide, sexual assault, and hazing.
  • National Center for Victims of Crime: Stalking Publication Series

    The National Center for Victims of Crimes provides several publications with advice and self-help instructions for victims of stalking.  Information such as how to formulate a safety plan or collect evidence is available online at their website.
  • Stalking Resource Center

    The Stalking Resource Center is a program of the National Center for Victims of Crime. The Center’s dual mission is to raise national awareness of stalking and to encourage the development and implementation of multidisciplinary responses to stalking in local communities across the country. The Center’s website provides statistics, educational materials, and links to resources.
  • Wired Safety

     
    Wired Safety is an online resource for cyber-stalking, cyber-bullying, online fraud, and identity theft. The website provides a great deal of information, and many self-help links for victims of online harassment, stalking, or fraud.

  • Network for Victim Recovery of DC (NVRDC)

    The Network for Victim Recovery of DC (NVRDC) is a non-profit organization providing comprehensive case management and pro bono legal services to all victims of crime in the District of Columbia. NVRDC’s holistic services are provided regardless of income, ethnicity, immigration status, sexual orientation, race, or gender identity/expression. NVRDC runs the District’s on-call crisis response services to survivors of sexual assault who receive a sexual assault forensic exam in the District of Columbia. NVRDC offers victims professional case management services combined with experienced crime victims’ rights attorneys. The legal staff also represent sexual assault survivors within the context of college or university administrative proceedings and Title IX enforcement and complaints.
