    The Deaf Services staff are culturally Deaf and fluent in ASL. Deaf, hard-of-hearing or Deaf/blind victims of domestic violence, sexual assault or rape can get free and confidential services in Austin/Travis County such as: counseling, SafeParenting classes, case management and advocacy services, and community trainings.

    The Texas Council on Family Violence promotes safe and healthy relationships by supporting service providers, facilitating strategic prevention efforts, and creating opportunities for freedom from domestic violence. The website offers an interactive map by county for service providers.

  • Crime Victims First

    The mission of Crime Victims First (CV1) is to promote and protect crime victims’ rights through education, advocacy, and enforcement.  CV1 facilitates education services and awareness raising of crime victims’ rights;  provides victim services such as crisis counseling, criminal justice support, and pro bono legal services; participates in developing public policy; and has a variety of resources for victims on their website. 
  • Texas Attorney General Victim Services

    The Texas Attorney General’s Office Crime Victim Services provides victim notification, compensation, and referrals to statewide victim resources and assistance.
  • People Against Violent Crime

    People Against Violent Crime is a non-profit organization that provides support and services to victims including notification of offender custody status, general information about crime victims’ rights and the criminal justice system, court accompaniment, and crisis intervention.
