Save the Date for Pedal Pursuit ’23: May 6, 2023
We are thrilled to announce that Pedal Pursuit is BACK! Mark your calendars now for May 6, 2023, for the return of NEDC’s annual bike-themed fundraiser and all-around great time. Pedal Pursuit brings together bikers, attorneys, students, and fans of the environment for a fun, team-based event in which participants bike around Portland answering trivia questions and competing in challenges in support of NEDC’s ongoing work.

SEED + NEDC Game Night in the LRC

Take a study break at the SEED & NEDC game night in the LRC. There will be boardgames, puzzles, cards, you name it! You can even bring your own games if you feel so inclined. There will be snacks, pizza, NA beverages and beer for those over 21 who bring their ID. All are welcome!

31st Annual Environmental Law Distinguished Visitor Lecture: “The Roots of Environmental Injustice and the limits of Environmental Law” with Professor Sarah Krakoff

Sarah Krakoff is the Raphael J. Moses Professor of Law at the University of Colorado. Her areas of expertise include American Indian law, natural resources and public land law, and environmental justice. She is the co-author of American Indian Law: Cases and Commentary and co-editor of Tribes, Land, and Environment.

NEDC’s annual fundraiser is a bike adventure race through Portland! Teams of up to 5 compete for prizes by completing mental and physical challenges that move them through the course. Afterwards everyone gathers at Velocult for food, drinks and a raffle!

The Crag Law Center will celebrate ten years of legal aid for the environment on November 5 with Wild Shots, a benefit auction and party featuring wildlife and nature photography donated by acclaimed NW artists, including internationally renowned landscape photographer Robert Adams.


Tickets are $25 in advance, $35 at the door, and include complimentary wine, beer and plentiful appetizers.  Live music provided by Squirrel Butter. The doors open at 5 PM.
