      Was appointed to a three-year term on the Washington State Supreme Court Gender and Justice Commission, the mission of which is to provide a leadership role in eliminating gender discrimination and bias in the state’s legal system. Amburgey-Richardson, who is celebrating her fourth year with the Washington Coalition of Sexual Assault Programs, works on justice issues and the confidentiality and privacy rights of sexual assault survivors. As program coordinator, she primarily focuses on the issue, of sexual violence in detention settings.

      Started Bishop Bankruptcy Law in Clackamas, Oregon. Bishop brings over five years of chapter 7 and chapter 13 bankruptcy experience to his practice. Having spent the past three years working with a family and bankruptcy practice in Gresham, he is aware of the issues facing east county residents.

      Relocated from Portland to Albuquerque, New Mexico, and was admitted to the State Bar of New Mexico in December 2015. Black remains an attorney for the U.S. Department of Energy, now representing the Southwestern Power Administration based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In January 2016, she was also elected to the board of directors for Drum Corps International, a youth arts and education nonprofit based in Indianapolis.

      Was included by the Portland Business Journal in its 2014 “Forty Under 40.” The recognition honors young influential business leaders who have excelled in their fields and are dedicated to their community. Fagan, an associate at Ater Wynne, works on business dispute resolution ranging from intellectual property infringement to employment defense.

      Became chair of the Executive Committee of the Oregon State Bar’s Health Law Section. She has been involved with the Health Law Section since 2012. Franks is an attorney with Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt.

      Was appointed to the governing board of the Oregon Department of Geology and Mineral Industries (DOGAMI). Together with the board’s other four members, she will set policies and oversee general operations which guide Oregonians in understanding the risks of natural hazards and the state’s exceptional geology. An attorney with Jordan Ramis PC, Jeremiah focuses her legal practice on construction and mining law.

Ponzini’s practice focuses on family law, including divorce, child custody, child and spousal support, and support modifications, as well as assisting with civil litigation. Ponzini was also elected vice president of the Deschutes County Bar Association for 2014-2015.

      Joined the Great Lakes Environmental Law Center in Detroit, Michigan, as a senior attorney. Previously, Salim served as senior attorney at Fair Shake Environmental Legal Services and as a staff attorney at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law’s Environmental Law Clinic. For the past five years, Salim has shared his expertise as an adjunct professor by teaching Lewis & Clark’s two-week summer seminar on oil and gas law, and energy law and regulation at the University of Pittsburgh.
