      Joined Portland law firm Dunn Carney Allen Higgins and Tongue as a member of its real estate and business teams. Boyer works with individuals and commercial businesses to structure, draft, and negotiate residential, commercial, and industrial real estate and business transactions. He is president of the Lewis & Clark Law School Recent Graduate Council and volunteers in the Small Business Legal Clinic.

      Thomas Chandler JD ’12 and daughter Harper Chandler visited with Patrick Sullivan JD ’12 and his daughter, Shelby Sullivan, at Shelby’s second birthday party in Washington, D.C. Shelby and Harper were born three weeks apart.

      Became a partner at McGaughey Erickson. The firm will continue to handle securities, employment, business break-up, and contract litigation in their downtown Portland, Oregon, office.

Erickson’s practice focuses on civil litigation with an emphasis on securities and shareholder lawsuits, employment claims, and environmental law. She recently served as a judicial law clerk to Superior Court Judge Kari Kristiansen in Palmer, Alaska.

      Rachel Guthrie JD ’12 established the American Wolf Foundation on March 15, 2018. The foundation will provide support to partner organizations doing on-the-ground research into and conservation of endangered American wolves, starting with the critically endangered red wolf. It will also focus on outreach, education, and coexistence initiatives to shape public perception in advance of a new red wolf reintroduction effort. The organization plans to follow a model similar to that of the Mexican Wolf Fund, which provides support to affected ranchers and landowners in an effort to foster collaboration. In the short term, the American Wolf Foundation may also fund additional captive breeding of the red wolf. Guthrie’s ultimate goal is to build the foundation into a substantial endowment fund to provide permanent support for all American canid conservation efforts.

      Served as a panelist for Invest in the U.S.A.’s July 24, 2015, webinar, Going Global: The Importance of Diversifying the EB-5 Investor Marketplace. Kapuria is an attorney with the Chicago office of Klasko Immigration Law Partners, where he works with U.S.-based developers to help structure EB-5 compliant projects and conducts immigration due diligence reviews of EB-5 projects for foreign investors.

      John Koch JD ’12 was named the Multnomah Bar Association’s Senior Law Project Volunteer of the Year for providing representation to those who could not otherwise afford legal assistance. Koch practices business law as well as estate planning and administration.

      Joined the faculty at Vermont Law School as a clinical professor in the school’s Center for Agriculture and Food Systems. Moses previously worked at the Center for Food Safety, litigating sustainable agriculture issues. She also worked as a judicial clerk at the Oregon Court of Appeals. During her studies at Lewis & Clark, she served as editor-in-chief of the Animal Law Review. She has authored and coauthored several legal publications related to animal agriculture and environmental law.

      Joined Barran Liebman as an associate attorney. Munsinger represents employers and management in employment law litigation, and provides advice on a full range of employment law matters. Previously, he worked as an honors attorney at the Oregon Department of Justice Trial and Civil Enforcement Divisions. Munsinger also served as former Attorney General John Kroger’s special assistant in 2010, coordinating with Oregon business leaders, attorneys, elected officials, and citizens on behalf of the attorney general.

      Moved to Samuels Yoelin Kantor to establish a securities litigation practice group that represents individual investors, fiduciaries, and institutional investors. Pasieczny also works on shareholder rights, business torts, and complex legal malpractice cases. She spoke at the ABA Section of Dispute Resolution Spring Conference 2015 on the latest developments in FINRA arbitration, and was elected to Reed College’s alumni board of directors.

      Ben Pirie JD ’12 has joined Lane Powell as an associate on the firm’s cannabis team. Pirie counsels cannabis businesses on a wide range of corporate needs. He is passionate about building long-lasting relationships with clients as they reach toward their goals in one of the most dynamic and fraught industries in the world. Pirie brings his experience as in-house counsel for a Fortune 1000 company in Portland to bear on Oregon’s emerging cannabis industry, where he advises clients on business transactions, contracts, entity formation and management, securities compliance, corporate governance, intellectual property, mergers and acquisitions, state and local administrative law, and employment matters. Results-oriented and responsive, Pirie has helped clients from labs to retailers on their terms and timelines to get and keep every type of recreational-marijuana license from the Oregon Liquor Control Commission. In addition to advising clients, Pirie is active in engaging with state and local governments in order to ensure common-sense, business-friendly regulation of the marijuana industry.

Yareshes’ primary responsibilities include conducting probable cause hearings; issuing search and arrest warrants, emergency protective orders, temporary detention orders, and civil warrants and subpoenas; conducting bail hearings; and issuing orders in minor civil matters.
