January 12, 2010

Attorney General Kroger announces Lewis & Clark law student and alum chosen among six promising new lawyers for the Honors Attorney Program. Jessica McKie JD ’10 and Rebecca Johansen JD ’08 join four other recent graduates from Harvard Law School, Stanford Law School, University of Virginia Law School, and the University of Oregon School of Law.

The two-year program is highly competitive and designed to attract exceptionally qualified recent law school graduates or judicial clerks with an interest in public service. “We’re recruiting the best lawyers in the country,” said Kroger. “We’re honored that they chose public service.”
