Hattie Bratzel-Kremen Scholarship
Hattie Bratzel-Kremen received her J.D. in 1950 and was the first woman in Oregon to be elected as a district attorney. Her estate plan included funds for an annual scholarship to support women or other minorities with financial need who are motivated to apply themselves to the study of law. This scholarship is given to students as a loan and then forgiven if the student graduates from law school with a specified grade point average.
