Natasha Dolezal, director of International Animal Law, together with Animal Law Reform South Africa, Professor David Bilchitz, Ban Animal Trading South Africa, and attorney Amy Wilson (Hogan Lovells) have organized a discussion focussed on animal law. We will cover a broad range of topics from an introduction to animal law, its growth through the years (in Universities/courts/through legislation), animal law in practice: in the U.S (in particular under the Trump Administration, lessons and hot topics) and the South African context (current, post-apartheid and looking forward), working with animal organisations and developments through legislation and litigation.
