We are pleased to announce   Kenneth R. Feinberg as our 2017 Kennedy Lecture Speaker. Mr. Feinberg is the Managing Partner of The Feinberg Group, LLP., where he serves as one of the nation’s leading experts in mediation and alternative dispute resolution. Feinberg has been key to resolving many of our nation’s most challenging and widely known disputes. He is best known for serving as the Special Master of the Federal September 11th Victim Compensation Fund of 2001, and also served as the Special Master for TARP Executive Compensation. He shared his experience in his book What Is Life Worth?, published by Public Affairs Press. Additionally, Mr. Feinberg was designated by the Obama Administration to serve as Head of BP Claims Fund and Special Master for Compensation. Most recently, Feinberg was retained by General Motors to assist in its recall response and also by Volkswagen to oversee its U.S. compensation of VW owners affected by the emissions scandal. He received his Bachelor of Arts cum laude from University of Massachusetts-Amherst and his law degree from New York University School of Law, where he was Articles Editor of the Law Review.


About the Justice Kennedy Lecture series

The lecture series, now in its ninth year, is designed to promote discussion of cutting-edge issues affecting the U.S. Supreme Court and the Constitution. The program was established with the approval of Justice Anthony Kennedy when he visited the law school in the fall of 2008.  

CLE Credit:  1 OSB CLE Credit will be sought.
