Learn About LEAP - Info Session & Reception

Date: 4:30pm PDT September 4 Location: Faculty Reading Room, Legal Research Center

Faculty Reading Room, Legal Research Center

LEAP (Legal Employment Accelerator Program) is a new Clackamas Women’s Services Program, which is an accelerator program designed to help launch the solo practice careers of new attorneys as well as those returning to the practice after an extended absence. The LEAP program will provide entrepreneurial spirited lawyers with the skills to build and sustain a law practice across a wide range of practice areas. The LEAP cohorts agree to represent participants referred by Clackamas Women’s Services with 15-hours of pro-bono and 35-hours of sliding scale legal services per month. In exchange, these new solos will gain invaluable professional experience while learning in a collaborative supportive environment.

Come learn more about LEAP, CWS, and the application process during this informal information session and reception. LEAP Managing Attorney, Marisha Childs, will be there to give you and overview and explain the opportunity to join LEAP! The information session and reception will be held in the Faculty Reading Room, Legal Research Center, lower level.

Registration for this event is now closed.
