Mark your calendars! The Center for Animal Law Studies (CALS) and the students of Lewis & Clark Law School will be celebrating all things animal law during our annual Animal Law Week, to be held March 9 - 13, 2020. Throughout the week, there will be special events to highlight how lawyers are helping in animal protection and continuing to develop the field of animal law.


Monday, March 9

Lunch Speaker: Lewis & Clark Animal Legal Defense Fund Student Chapter Speaker Series Professors and Clinic Directors, Kathy Hessler and Delcianna Winders, 12:10-1pm, Location TBD, (Open to the public)

Tuesday, March 10

Lunch Speaker: Kitty Block, President and CEO for Humane Society of the United States, 12:10-1pm, Location TBD, Topic title TBA. (Open to the public; RSVP required due to space limitations)

Wednesday, March 11

Lunch Speaker: Panel from Animal Legal Defense Fund (ALDF), 12:10-1pm, Location TBD, Topic title: ALDF Luncheon Panel (Open to the public)
