On March 11, 2020, the Environmental Law Education Center is presenting Superfund 2020: the 25th Annual Conference on Environmental Contamination and Cleanup in Portland Oregon. This conference, sponsored by the Environmental Law Program at Lewis & Clark Law School, will bring together knowledgeable Superfund practitioners including - attorneys, scientists, engineers, industry, tribes, PRPs, local government, state and federal regulators, and others – to talk about cleaning up environmental contamination under state and federal Superfund laws. In addition to the latest developments at US EPA and the state agencies, we will explore important legal issues, liability, apportionment of costs, source control, and compliance with multiple overlapping regulatory requirements. Speakers will emphasize strategies to move projects forward, and the tools and challenges for getting the job done.
