Alumni of the law school created the Basic Needs Fund to address factors that interfere with student health and well-being. This fund provides resources to address basic needs such as food security. The average award will be in the $100-200 range.
Your application will be considered on the basis of need and availability of funds. Additional information or documentation may be requested by Lewis & Clark Law School in order to determine need. If approved, payment will occur in a method determined by Lewis & Clark Law School (gift card, cash/check, or other). Funds received, regardless of format, are not required to be repaid to Lewis & Clark College.
Lewis & Clark also has an institutional Student Emergency Fund (https://college.lclark.edu/giving/student-emergency-fund/) which law students can also apply to for emergency needs.
