Photos from “Nailed It”: Screening and Q&A with Filmmaker Adele Pham

We had a wonderful evening exploring and uncovering the real history of the Vietnamese nail salon with filmmaker Adele Pham. “Nailed It” takes viewers from Los Angeles to the Bronx to meet the diverse people and relationships behind the booming and enigmatic nail salon trade.

In virtually every city, state, and strip mall across the U.S., people get their nails done in salons likely owned by Vietnamese entrepreneurs. We explored how this community came to dominate an $8 billion dollar nail economy.
