Prior to joining the faculty at Boston University\, Dean O'Rourke worked on software licensing issues at IBM Corporation. \n\n The intersection of intellectual property law and other fields\, such as contract law and antitrust\, have been her primary interest. \n\n Dean O'Rourke is a prolific writer\, and her articles have appeared in the law reviews of Columbia\, Duke\, Iowa\, and Minnesota\, the technology journals of Berkeley\, Harvard\, and Boston University\, and other publications including the Journal of the Copyright Society. She also co-authored the casebook Copyright in a Global Information Economy\, and lectures at law schools around the globe.
