Rosemary Douglas Lombard BA retired in 2007 from a varied career teaching music and science. Since returning to the Portland area, she has set up a turtle cognition lab and is writing a book, Diode’s Experiment: A Box Turtle Investigates the Human World. She also codirects Hillsboro’s Last Monday Poetry series.

Bob Ness BA has completed his term as president and board chair for Leadership Tomorrow, a Seattle-based organization dedicated to developing effective community leaders. He continues work with the Arts Council of Mongolia.
