Emily Auerbach ’10 joined Kell Alterman & Runstein as an associate. She is focusing her practice on business law and estate planning. Auerbach is a member of the Owen M. Panner Inn of Court and Oregon Women Lawyers.

Nicolo Davidson ’10 joined the law firm of Stites & Harbison in Nashville, Tennessee. Davidson, an intellectual property and registered patent attorney with a background in chemical engineering, operated an intellectual law practice after graduation. He is an associate with the intellectual property and technology group at Stites & Harbison, and is admitted to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Davidson is a member of the Nashville Bar Association, Tennessee Bar Association, American Bar Association, and Tennessee Intellectual Property Law Association.

M. Rachel Hoffman ’10 joined Stoel Rives in its Seattle office as an associate in the environment, land use, and natural resources group. Previously, she was a lease administration assistant for Nike. Hoffman, who earned a certificate in environmental and natural resources law, served on the editorial board of Environmental Law. She received her BS with honors from Tulane University in environmental engineering.

Don Stait ’10 joined Littler Mendelson as special counsel. Stait will advise and represent employers in a broad range of employment law related matters, including discrimination, sexual harassment, wrongful discharge, and wage and hour claims. He previously worked as a paralegal in Littler Mendelson’s Portland office while attending law school. Stait also coauthors a monthly column, “The Legislative Lowdown,” for Oregon Daily Journal of Commerce.

Gregory Scott ’10 joined the firm of Klarquist Sparkman as an associate. Scott’s practice focuses on the preparation and prosecution of U.S. patent applications. He also specializes in biotechnical patent applications and has experience in neuroscience, biochemistry, cell biology, and molecular biology. Alexander Wheatley ’10 joined the firm of Black Helterline in its litigation practice group. He was a 2009 summer associate at the firm, and in the summer of 2008 attended Tulane Law School’s International Law Study Abroad Program in the Hague.
