Two articles published in The Oregonian on Saturday highlighted PEAC’s work. It’s not often that environmental legal advocacy gets featured twice in the same day!
- PEAC attorney Tom Buchele was quoted in Steve Duin’s column on the Columbia River Crossing project: “Joe Cortright: CRC’s numbers just don’t add up.”
- This comprehensive article on the Good Neighbor Agreement with ESCO steel foundry includes a video interview with PEAC Advisory Council member and community activist with Neighbors for Clean Air, Mary Peveto. It also highlights the critical contributions of PEAC attorney Aubrey Baldwin (though mistakenly identifying her as an attorney with NEDC): “Northwest Portland neighbors push and work with Esco to reduce pollution.”
