JLS hosted a wonderful turkey dinner and discussion, led by Portland’s Jewish shlichah (emissiary) Amos Meron, last spring. Amos offered a marvelous comparative explanation of the legal system in Israel. Amos just bid adieu to the Portland community, as he wrapped up his post in Portland. We will miss you, Amos!
