Kya Marienfeld

Kya Marienfeld is a second year law student who came to Lewis & Clark from the beautiful northwoods of Minnesota to study environmental law.  She earned her BA in History and Environmental Geoscience from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. She is very excited to work with incoming students as they navigate their first year of law school, legal writing, and life in Portland!  After law school, she would like to work in environmental litigation in either the Mountain West or back in the great state of Minnesota.  When she’s not reading law books and staring wistfully out the window, she is a Managing Editor of the Animal Law Review, a Project Coordinator for the Northwest Environmental Defense Center, a lifelong canoeist, and a rabid St. Louis Cardinals fan.
