Intern Spotlight - Andrew Simon

Andrew Simon is a second year law student at University of California Berkeley School of Law who served as one of NCVLI’s Summer 2012 Law Student Interns.

Andrew had this to say about his time spent at NCVLI:

Working at NCVLI was an incredible opportunity!  NCVLI’s attorneys and staff are tremendously talented, enthusiastic, and kind.  My ability to analyze complex legal issues and develop solutions was greatly bolstered by working with NCVLI’s experienced team. More importantly, I was able to make a real difference for victims in several ongoing cases and work on issues at the cutting edge of victim advocacy and criminal law.  I am grateful for the effort that NCVLI’s staff dedicated to helping me grow as a professional and am deeply impressed with the organization after seeing the impact that it makes firsthand.
