Out of state assistance
I am planning on practicing law in Michigan upon graduation. Am I on my own when it comes to seeking employment and summer internship opportunities in Michigan? I am concerned that it will be difficult to find work after graduating from a school so far from where I wish to eventually practice. Any thoughts or examples of past students who have done this successfully?

While we do have a lot of students and grads who choose to stay in the West, we have a good number who work in other parts of the country over the summer and after graduation. We have employers who recruit at L&C from around the country and we work closely with our students who are interested in working in other parts of the country. We will be here to work with you on your plans and to connect you to resources that will be helpful to you!
