In this centennial year, media outlets from Oregon Public Broadcasting to Publisher’s Weekly are highlighting the legacy of the renowned poet, educator, and pacifist, and asking fellow poets, artists, and friends to share how they were—and continue to be—influenced by Stafford and his work.

Here are highlights from the recent Stafford coverage: 

Lewis & Clark will present the William Stafford Centennial Symposium on February 7-8, which includes an event at Portland’s Newmark Theatre featuring nationally known poets, local authors, and members of the Stafford family.
