Elizabeth (Ellie) Boucher Dawson (JD, 2011) is a trial attorney with the U.S. Department of Justice in the Environment and Natural Resources Division, having entered as an honors attorney directly from law school. As part of the Division’s Environmental Defense Section, her practice focuses on defending claims brought against Executive Branch agencies under federal pollution statutes, ranging from CERCLA actions against the Department of Defense in U.S. District Court to challenges to EPA rulemakings in the U.S. Court of Appeals.
Originally from Madison, Wisconsin, Ellie is enjoying living on the East Coast, with all the cultural events and experiences it has to offer. She is also an active member of her church community, where she sings in the choir. Most importantly, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Steven, and her new baby, Nora.
