Donor Supported Scholarship Applications Due Wednesday, October 8

The Law School Development Office is accepting applications for 4 Donor Supported Scholarships totaling $32,300. Scholarships will be applied to 2014-15 tuition. Applications are due on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at 11:59 p.m. No exceptions.

Applications are due on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at 11:59 p.m. No exceptions.

 

ELIGIBILITY

Please note that donor supported scholarships are applied directly to Lewis & Clark Law School tuition. All scholarship recipients must be enrolled and attending Lewis & Clark Law School to receive a donor supported scholarship. Donor supported scholarships are applied directly to tuition. Lewis & Clark Law School students receiving a full-tuition scholarship are NOT eligible to apply. Student scholarship awards cannot exceed the amount of tuition. Funds cannot be applied to books, fees or other expenses.

Log into TWEN and join the course named “Fall 2014 Donor Supported Scholarships.”

John & Susan Bates Family Endowed Scholarship in Business Law

$10,000

3L, 4L evening

Recipient must have intent to practice business law with a focus on securities.  Recipient must complete securities regulation course before graduation.

Gantenbein Scholarship

$5,000

3L; 4L evening

GPA of 3.4 or higher

Kitagawa Johnson-Laird IP Scholarship

$10,000

2L; 3L; 4L evening

Applicants must be studying IP law, with specific application to computers and the internet with the intent to practice this branch of the law on passing the bar

Minta Hicks Newell

$2,300

3L or 4L evening

Recipient must be in their last year of law school with demonstrated interest in practicing business law.
