Any advice for new students? Stay true to yourself!

Anticipated Graduation Year: 2016

Hometown: Portland, Oregon

Undergraduate & Previous Work Experience: BA in Biology and English from PSU. Before law school I worked at Lincoln High School, Department of Community Justice Family Services Division, and the Heinrich-Corless Laboratory at OHSU.

What is your particular area of interest pertaining to law? Right now, Trademark Law, but ask me next week and it may be something different.

Are you involved with any extracurricular activities? Lewis & Clark Law Review, I am the President of the Intellectual Property Student Organization (IPSO) and an L.A.W. Teaching Fellow, and I try to coach high school cheerleading at least once a month.

What do you like to do for fun? I love to spend time with my family, cooking, snowboarding, and doing my nails. I also like to stunt and coach cheerleading.

What are your favorite places in Portland? Lincoln High School, Elephants (22nd location), and pretty much anywhere downtown.

Why did you pick Lewis & Clark Law School? I wanted to stay close to my family.

What do you like most about Lewis & Clark? I enjoy the passion and expertise that the professors bring to each class.

What was your reason for electing Intellectual Property Law as a focus? IP essentially marries my two undergraduate majors, which I originally selected because I could not choose which one I enjoyed more.

What has been your favorite experience so far in law school? At Lewis & Clark I think it has been the beginning of my 2L year because I finally found a way to balance classes and the extracurricular activities that I enjoy.
