Eat, Pray, Law: A Food Forum will explore a broad spectrum of food law and policy topics from the farm to the fork. Issues range from labeling and transparency to sustainability, urban agriculture, and food justice. The Forum is designed for law students, lawyers, and other professionals working in the food and agriculture industries, food safety, law, government, and other areas involving food law or policy. The forum will bring together a host of authorities on business, animal, environmental, and social justice laws all within the framework of food, to raise discussion on a number of questions, including: How can we create a more transparent food system? How can we increase access to healthy foods for low-income communities? How can we increase economic opportunities for small-scale local producers? The goal of this forum is to develop interest in and raise awareness of the food industry’s legal issues, challenges, business operations, regulations, and policy.

Cost:  $50, Student Rate:  $25 (with meals) or free (no meals). All students please register, even if choosing free option.  Please note that we may need to place students in an overflow room with live video feed for some parts of the forum depending on registrations.
