Professor Oleske’s op-ed on Oregon’s equal-service law

In a guest column for The Oregonian, Professor Oleske discusses the civil rights law that is at the heart of the Oregon “wedding cake” case. Although some commentators have argued that laws like Oregon’s cover too many businesses, Oleske explains how “the broad equal-service laws enacted in the civil rights era are a well-established part of the American legal fabric.”
