NCVLI has been partnering with the amazing legal team at Network for Victim Recovery of D.C. (NVRDC) as they fight for the rights of a victim of stalking and domestic violence to meaningfully but safely participate in a restitution case. Legal issues at stake include in-person participation, CCTV participation, witness examination, sufficiency of evidence and more. It is critical to secure for survivors their right to participate in a way that avoids victimization.
