On January 18-19 of 2017 NCVLI’s Executive Director Meg Garvin participated in a round table to discuss models and processes for facilitating victim participation in Uganda’s newly created International Crimes Division to try international crimes. As a internationally recognized expert on representation of victims in criminal courts, Ms. Garvin was asked to participate along with participants from Uganda and around the world, including REDRESS, an international NGO.
