Using Expert Witnesses Training

On Friday, October 27th, NAVRA hosted an in-person training titled Building Blocks of a Successful Domestic Violence Case: From Understanding Neurobiology to Using Expert Testimony to Respecting Victim-Survivor Strength. The training explored the neurobiology of trauma as it relates to the daily exposure to threat faced by victims of intimate partner violence and how this science can inform the investigation and prosecution of domestic violence cases.
