The Law School Writing Center and the Law Library are holding paper writing and research workshops over these next two weeks. These workshops are required for students engaged in individual research projects, and are open and highly recommended to any working on their Capstone, WIE, or other course paper.

Come to both, and bring a friend!

Introduction to WIE & Capstone Writing

Wednesday, January 24th, 12:10–1:10 (Room 4) and 4:30–5:30 (Room 7)
Lora Keenan, Writing Specialist, and Nora Coon ’16 will talk about writing WIEs and Capstones. Learn practical strategies for managing large writing projects and top tips for successful long-form papers. This workshop will be helpful for everyone, but especially for students writing Capstones through independent research projects.

Finding and Researching Your Paper Topics: Tips, Tools & Tactics

This session will focus on how/where to start your research and how to be certain you aren’t missing anything. Join your law librarians Mari Cheney and Rob Truman for the keys to paper research success.
