Join us in Portland June 7-8 for our Crime Victim Law Conference. This year’s Conference, themed Unlock the Power of Victims’ Rights, features plenaries, breakout sessions and roundtable discussions.
Plenary Highlight:
Paul Cassell, JD, of the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law, and Brad Edwards, JD, of Edwards Pottinger LLC, will present “Using Civil Tools to Protect Victims’ Rights.”
Breakout Session Highlights:
- Samantha Fried, LCSW, and Kathryn Ford, LCSW, both of the Center for Court Innovation, with Rebecca Khalil, JD, of NCVLI, will present “Supporting Child Victims and Witnesses in Court.”
- Rachel Johnson, JD, and Mallory Littlejohn, JD, both of the Chicago Alliance Against Sexual Exploitation, with Amy Liu, JD, of NCVLI, will present “Representing Crime Victims as They Engage with Police and Detectives Pre-Indictment.”
- Russell Butler, JD, of the Maryland Crime Victims’ Resource Center, Inc, and Terry Campos, JD, of NCVLI, will present “What’s Next? - Litigation of Crime Victims’ Rights at the Higest Level.”
