Fall Semester Paper Writing & Research Workshops

The Law School Writing Center and the Boley Law Library are holding paper writing and research workshops that are required for students engaged in individual research projects, and are highly recommended to all students working on a Capstone, WIE, or other course paper.

Come to both, and bring a friend!

Finding and Researching Your Paper Topics: Tips, Tools & Tactics
Thursday, September 6, 2018 at 12:10pm–1:10pm or 4:20pm–5:20pm (Room TBD)
This session will focus on how and where to start your research, and how to be certain you aren’t missing anything. Join your research law librarians Mari Cheney and Rob Truman for the keys to paper research success.

Individual Research Paper Writing Workshop
Thursday, September 13, 2018 at 12:10pm–1:10pm or 4:30-5:20pm (Room TBD)
Lora Keenan, Writing Specialist, and Nora Coon ’16, will focus on identifying your paper topic and the basics of writing a significant legal research paper - including how to use your time efficiently and effectively.
