This project aims to complete the foundational work for implementing a Community-Based Youth Development Research Track in the doctoral program. This track will attract and support Ed.D. candidates who wish to conduct research that extends their boundaries, personally and professionally, into the broader community by collaborating with and across youth-serving organizations to develop and disseminate knowledge around policies and practices that support the learning, engagement, and health of youth in their communities. Students would seek to foster long-standing partnerships that promote youth development and work alongside community leaders to ensure meaningful research questions and findings.
