Jazmine Bowens (’21)

Jazmine Bowens is an Assistant General Counsel (I) for Portland General Electric Company and assists with general litigation. Before her employment at PGE, Jazmine did some work in the Labor and Employment sector. She spent the summer directly preceding law school working as an Equal Employment Specialist for the federal government. Then during law school, she worked as a law clerk for Creighton & Rose, PC, a Portland law firm specializing in plaintiff’s employment law and civil rights cases.

Jazmine holds a BA in Psychology and Neuroscience from Butler University and received her JD from Lewis & Clark Law School. While at Lewis & Clark, Jazmine served as a Submissions Editor for Animal Law Review and 1L Representative for Black Law Students Association. She was also a research assistant for Professors Bill Chin and Delci Winders.

When Jazmine is not working, she enjoys exploring Portland’s best parks and coffee shops and watching baking competition shows.
