Katherine FitzGibbon Elected President-Elect of NCCO

Dr. Katherine FitzGibbon, Professor of Music and Director of Choral Activities, was recently elected President-Elect of the National Collegiate Choral Organization (NCCO). Dr. FitzGibbon will serve as President-Elect for two years before becoming President in 2024.
I’m grateful and excited to have been elected President-Elect of the National Collegiate Choral Organization (NCCO), an organization I love. It’s been doing important work re-envisioning how choral music can serve our students and communities in an innovative and inclusive way.
Dr. FitzGibbon has served on the national board of NCCO for eight years and was recently part of the Mission and Vision in Governance Committee, which revised the organization’s mission statement to clarify the innovative and inclusive approach of the NCCO.
