SBLC Open House and Auction 2022!
It is our pleasure to invite you to our new space, 333 SW 5th Ave., Suite 400, on Wednesday, May 4th from 3 pm-6 pm. After 15 years, we have moved to a new location and are excited to welcome you! In light of the pandemic, we will be holding tours throughout the 3 hours rather than a large gathering. Please RSVP to sblc@lclark.edu by May 2, 2022. We will have light refreshments.

To kick off our Open House, we will begin our second annual Online Auction on April 27 through May 2, 2022. This auction showcases a variety of wonderful products and services from some of our community members, please browse our Auction Catalog here. Many volunteer attorneys contributed to the SBLC. Our SBLC Attorney of the Year for 2021 is Joe Cerne from Lane Powell. He has volunteered for the last four years and has served numerous clients in that time. Last year, one of his clients remarked, “I could not have asked for a more attentive, or dedicated person to work with. I felt more than supported by Joe. I felt like he really cared about how my company was protected.” The SBLC is really grateful for his continual work with low-income small business owners through the SBLC.

We cannot thank you enough for your continued support of our work here at the Small Business Legal Clinic. Even in difficult times, our clinic continues to witness the tremendous strength and growth in our attorney volunteers, funders, community partners, clients, staff, and students. Last year, the SBLC was able to serve 370 businesses through hybrid working systems. And 90 attorney volunteers served 115 with hundreds of hours of legal services.
It has been an incredible year! We look forward to another great year together, thank you!
