Hi there Students!
Did you know that College Outdoors offers trips every weekend, and longer trips during Fall Break? Check out the trip options on our website. Outdoor trips are a great way to relax, make friends, have fun, explore the great PNW, and try something new. No experience is needed for any trip, and we provide everything you need for each activity. Registration is in-person at the College Outdoors office in Fowler 239 and first-paid, first-served. Here are some upcoming trips you could join!
- Fall Break: Backpack the Dry Side of Mt Hood (Thu 10/10 -Sat 10/12): Explore the forest, rivers, and spectacular views of the Badger Creek Wilderness
- Fall Break: Raft Guide Clinic (Wed evening 10/9 - Sat 10/12): Learn how to guide a raft through whitewater rapids
- Mt. St. Helens Day Hike (Sat 10/19): Enjoy the challenge and reward of a hike on the slopes of this iconic volcano
- Kayak Day Trip (Sat 10/19 & Sat 10/27): Learn to paddle a kayak, and explore Oregon’s natural beauty from the water
- Mushroom Foraging (Sat 10/26 & Sat 11/2): Learn to identify wild mushrooms, and enjoy a tasty mushroom feast
- Beaches & Bluffs Getaway (Sat 11/2 - Sun 11/3): Spend a relaxing night in a yurt, and take a mellow stroll along Oregon’s spectacular coastline
