The Grilled Cheese Grill

The Grilled Cheese Grill is a pretty fun quirky spot. It has a wide range of classic and unique grilled cheese options.

The Grilled Cheese Grill, for a lack of a better description is a grilled cheese joint with a school bus to eat your food in. It is pretty rad. First, the range of cheeses, veggies, meat, bread is pretty out of control. You can have the classic cheddar cheese to havarti, brea, cream cheese, provolone and more. Bread wise there is the usual option: white or wheat, but there is also the sourdough, rye and some fancy sweet breads, as well.

Personally, I always order the Southsider on wheat. The Southsider is generally artichokes, sundried tomato, mushrooms and mozzarella on Sourdough. It is pretty awesome if you like your veggies. However, if you want some meat you can add salami or really anything for something like a buck more. Also, if nothing really on the menu strikes your fancy – you can always create your own sandwich. There are tons of ingredients like avocados, jalapenos, pickles, bacon, fried egg, turkey and so much more. The average price ranges between 4 to 6 bucks.

The Grilled Cheese Grill is a pretty fun quirky spot. It has a wide range of classic and unique grilled cheese options. It caters to herbivores, omnivores, and carnivores. Honestly, it is not the best food Portland has to offer – and for a grilled cheese it might be pretty pricey. But, on a Saturday night after a pretty radical night at the Bye and Bye – the Grilled Cheese Grill is the perfect spot to hit up.
