Animal Law faculty publish Nutshell

Assistant Dean Pamela Frasch and Professor Kathy Hessler publish the Animal Law Nutshell

Assistant Dean Pamela Frasch and Professor Kathy Hessler announced today the publication of their co-authored “Animal Law in a Nutshell,” part of the well-known Thomson West Publishing legal nutshell series.  Pamela Frasch is the Assistant Dean of the Lewis & Clark Law School Animal Law Program & Executive Director of the Center for Animal Law Studies at Lewis and Clark in collaboration with the Animal Legal Defense Fund.  In addition to the nutshell, Ms. Frasch is co-author of the premier American legal casebook in the field, Animal Law, Cases and Materials which is used in most Animal Law courses being taught in the United States.  Professor Hessler is the director of the Lewis & Clark Law School Animal Law Clinic at the Center for Animal Law Studies in collaboration with the Animal Legal Defense Fund.  She has authored several articles in addition to co-authoring the animal law nutshell.
