Holly R Puckett, JD

Director of Career Services

Holly R. Puckett serves as the Director of Career Services and is committed to assisting employers, students, alumni, and donors to create internship and post-graduate employment opportunities. Holly coordinates employer outreach for private employer and business sectors, advises students one-on-one and in group settings, plans programming on campus to connect students with the legal market, and maintains the jobs database. One of her strengths is her ability to work closely with students to help them identify opportunities consistent with their individual career goals and then set out achievable steps to get on that path.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Holly held positions in management for locally owned businesses in the restaurant, arts education, and retail sectors in the Southeastern United States. She has more than a decade of work experience in law firm and nonprofit legal settings in the state of Oregon.

Holly loves a well organized spreadsheet and details focused tasks generally, including jewelry making such as bead weaving and wire work. She has been described as fanatical about dogs (although her current fuzzy best pal is a rescue cat named Carol) and enjoys music as a former instructor and songwriter in vocal and guitar performance.
