Annamarie (she/her) is a native Oregonian, happy to have returned to Portland after several years on the East Coast. Prior to attending Lewis & Clark, she received her Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and a double-minor in English and Psychology from Georgetown University. After graduation, she worked as a Media Buyer in New York City (i.e., she put ads on television–you’re welcome), and now she hopes to combine her business background with her love of the creative by pursuing corporate law in the City of Roses. As a 2L at Lewis & Clark, she serves as the SBA Vice President of Programming, as well as a Research Assistant and Lawyering Teaching Fellow to the 1L class. One of the best experiences that Annamarie has had during her time at L&C has been working in the school’s Low Income Taxpayer Clinic, which allows her to engage with the local community and also taught her how to actually complete a Form 1040.
