Jeff Myers, Chief IP Counsel, Apple.
Lewis & Clark Law School, JD 2001
University of Washington, BA – Engineering
Though Jeff was drawn to Lewis & Clark by its top-ranked environmental law program, he gravitated toward the business of IP law owing in part to his training as an engineer.
He worked for several firms and companies during law school, including Klarquist Sparkman, Samuels Yoelin Kantor, and Intel. After graduating, Jeff worked on patent development and IP licensing at Caterpillar before moving to Silicon Valley to work for Sun Microsystems.
Jeff joined Apple to work on the protection of iPhone innovations. He now leads Apple’s intellectual property and licensing team.
