Dan Eldredge

Dan Eldredge LLM ’05 passed away on July 11, 2020.

Dan lived a full life of adventure. After graduating from the U.S. Naval Academy he served as a navy submarine officer. He later enrolled in Tulane Law School, where he was the senior managing editor of the Tulane Maritime Law Journal. Dan entered civilian practice before returning to service as a Navy JAGC attorney. His work spanned the globe. After 27 years in the navy he retired and became the admiralty counsel for the navy’s Supervisor of Salvage and Diving in 2016. In that same year, he earned an MA in defense and strategic studies from the Naval War College.

Dan is survived by his loving wife Ginette and many, many friends who will miss him greatly.
