International Affairs/Hispanic Studies

I am an international student from Armenia, majoring in International Affairs and minoring in Hispanic Studies. As part of my minor, I am currently completing a semester abroad in Sevilla, Spain, where I have the opportunity to improve my Spanish and immerse myself in the diverse cultures coexisting here. During my time at Lewis and Clark, I’ve enjoyed connecting with the community through clubs and employment. Serving as a Team Lead at LC’s Phonathon program has allowed me to extend those connections to the alumni community as well. I am excited to deepen some of those connections as an SAA ambassador!

Whenever I have the opportunity to dance, I am reminded of its healing and joyful essence. Although I never pursued dance professionally, I eagerly embraced every chance to learn. Dancing enables me to convey my emotions through movement, be present, and celebrate life. I grew up dancing traditional Armenian dances, later learned a little bit of Salsa and Bachata, and now I am learning Flamenco while in Sevilla.
