Sebastián García LLM ’13 is a Chilean lawyer at the firm of “Urenda, Rencoret, Orrego & Dörr” since 2007, a traditional firm that has been recognized for many years as one of the leading law firms in Chile. Sebastian started working in the litigation area before moving into the Natural Resources and Environmental Law area. After completing his LLM degree and attending the Summer Energy Law Session at Lewis & Clark, Sebastián returned to Chile and resumed his position as an associate lawyer at the law firm, concentrating his practice in Natural Resources, Energy and Environmental Law, advising important foreign and national clients in the legal aspects involved in the construction and development of complex energy projects.. He has also advised clients on wind farm projects and run-of-the-river power plants. Mr. García has lectured as an assistant professor of Civil Procedure in Diego Portales Law School.
Sebastián is fluent in both Spanish and English.
Memorable moments … well everything was memorable about Portland and the people I met. Definitely when I met Chief Justice Roberts after the Moot Court competition.
