Biography

Dagmar Butte is an Elected Director of the American Immigration Lawyers’ Board of Governors, Immediate Past Chair of the International Law Students’ Association Board, listed as a SuperLawyer, listed in Who’s Who Among Business Immigration Lawyers and Chambers USA. She has written or edited the Jessup problem used in over 100 countries multiple times. She speaks frequently at domestic and international AILA and ILSA Conferences, has written and edited multiple publications for AILA and ILSA, has chaired several national AILA Committees working with DHS and the White House and served on then candidate Barack Obama’s Immigration Advisory Committee in 2007-2008.
