Biography
Mr. Norling serves as RET’s General Counsel. He leads RET’s corporate and project legal teams. Prior to joining RET, he was Corporate Counsel for Vestas, General Counsel for Columbia Energy Partners, and an attorney with Cleantech Law Partners. He was formerly a shareholder at Lane Powell, where he chaired the firm’s energy practice, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions of nearly $1 billion of renewable energy transactions and tax structured financings, and over 600 megawatts of projects. Mr. Norling received a BA from Middlebury College and a JD from Northwestern School of Law of Lewis & Clark College.
