Jacqueline Kamins

Adjunct Law Faculty

Jackie Kamins is an Assistant Attorney General in the Trial Division of the Oregon Department of Justice.  Prior to joining the Department of Justice, Jackie practiced at Sonnenschein Nath and Rosenthal, LLP in Washington D.C. She also clerked for Judge Kim McLane Wardlaw on the U. S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and was Editor-in-Chief of the University of Virginia Law Weekly. She spent her first six years at DOJ litigating habeas corpus and civil rights cases in federal court. She is now a member of the Special Litigation Unit, representing the State in significant and complex cases in both state and federal court.
